About Me

Hi, I’m Tag Broaderip, owner of Eclipse Landscape & Design in Scottsdale, Arizona.

My passion for landscaping began when I was just four years old. Even at that age, I was fascinated by plants and the desert environment. I started a small cactus nursery and began re-selling what I grew — and that’s where my journey began.

By the time I was 16, I was selling cactus on the side of the road, turning a childhood hobby into something much bigger and discovering what would become my lifelong passion.

From ages 14 to 16, I worked at North Scottsdale Nursery & Cactus, where I learned how to care for plants and understand which species thrive in Arizona’s climate. That early experience built the foundation for everything I do today.

As I grew older, I wanted to expand my knowledge and learn from the best. I sought out education and mentorship from two of the top landscapers in the Valley — Chuck Landin and Matt Berault — both of whom own their own respected landscape companies. Each brought a completely different perspective to the craft: Chuck focused on fine details and structure, while Matt emphasized creativity and flow. Learning from both gave me a well-rounded understanding of design, installation, and the importance of craftsmanship.

I started Eclipse Landscape & Design to bring those lessons together — combining precision, creativity, and integrity in every project we take on. From custom paver patios and irrigation systems to artificial turf installations, outdoor lighting designs, and desert landscape design, my focus is always on quality that lasts.

I’m personally involved in every stage of the process, from the first consultation to the final walkthrough, ensuring your project turns out exactly the way we both envision it.

Our work can be found across Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Rio Verde, Paradise Valley, and North Phoenix, and our reputation continues to grow through honesty, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

At the end of the day, what I enjoy most is seeing a client step into their completed landscape — when everything comes together just as planned.
